Cyndi's Apple Fall Harvest Bread


YOU WILL NEED
 
1 CUP LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
2 LARGE EGGS
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
1 1/2 CUPS PEELED DICED APPLES
2 TSP BAKING POWDER
1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
1/4 TSP SALT
3 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
2 TSP CINNAMON
1 TSP NUTMEG
1/2 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
1 1/2 CUPS WHITE FLOUR
1 CUP WALNUT PIECES
 
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350
MIX SUGAR, EGGS, SOUR CREAM, AND VANILA TOGETHER WELL. 

ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR APPLES AND WALNUTS, AND MIX WELL. 

ADD APPLES AND WALNUTS, STIR THROUGHOUT MIX.  SPRAY 1 LARGE BREADPAN, OR 2 MEDIUM BREADPANS WITH NON-STICK SPRAY, AND ADD DOUGH.  BAKE 1 HOUR, OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. 

LET COOL ON WIRE RACK, (FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN FORCE YOURSELF), AND ENJOY! 

GREAT FOR MAKING IN THE FALL, WHEN APPLES ARE AVAILABLE APLENTY!
